Betzone was formed in 2020 having assumed control of the shop estate of Stan James, acquiring over 100 premises from Glasgow to Penzance and becoming Britain's biggest independent bookmaker in the process. Having rebranded and modernised these stores, Betzone launched online a year later, quickly establishing a strong presence in a highly competitive marketplace.
Following a buoyant period trading on the High Street, Betzone completed the successful sale of its retail estate, making the online arm of the business its sole focus in the process.
In the early part of 2025, Betzone relaunched with a brand new website that features a dazzling array of markets, competitive prices, and an exciting range of slots and live casino games, all powered by cutting-edge betting technology.
